Social Activist FORUM Ganderbal Delegation Meets SDM Kangan Over Demarcation of State Land at Gund

Kangan, Oct 13: A delegation of the Social Activist Forum Ganderbal, led by its President Mr. Lone Manzoor , today met the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kangan at his office to once again raise the issue regarding the proper demarcation of State Land at Gund.

During the meeting, the delegation apprised the SDM that despite repeated representations and previous demarcation attempts by the Revenue Department, the actual 148 kanals of State Land has not yet been properly identified and demarcated.

After giving a patient hearing to the delegation, the SDM Kangan issued on-spot directions to his office to constitute a high-level team within a week to undertake the final demarcation process at Gund.

The Social Activist Forum Ganderbal expressed gratitude to the SDM Kangan for his prompt response and positive assurance, hoping that the directions will be implemented at the earliest to address the long-pending demand of the people of Gund.
