Ganderbal | 23rd July: Shah Fayaz, President of the Jammu & Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) and Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA), has expressed heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the revered mother of Jenab Reyaz Ahmad Wani Sahab (JKAS), Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Hon’ble Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah Sahab.
In a solemn statement issued to the media, Shah Fayaz described the passing away of Reyaz Sahab’s mother as not merely a personal loss to the bereaved family, but a collective sorrow for all who had the privilege of knowing her or being touched by the values she instilled—especially in her son, Reyaz Ahmad Wani Sahab, a highly respected and dedicated public servant.
He fondly remembered the departed soul as a noble lady of unwavering faith, kindness, and grace, who devoted her life to nurturing a family rooted in ethics, humility, and service to humanity. Her departure leaves behind an irreplaceable void, yet her legacy will continue to shine through the lives and values of those she raised.
“On behalf of the entire fraternity of JKECC and JKTA, we share in the grief of the bereaved family and offer our heartfelt prayers to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, illuminate her grave, and grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. We also pray for strength, patience, and resilience for Wani Reyaz Sahab and other family members in this hour of profound sorrow,” Shah Fayaz said.
He further noted that the loss of a mother is among life’s deepest pains, for no bond is more selfless or enduring. “Though no words can truly ease such pain, we stand in complete solidarity with Wani Sahab and his family and assure them of our continued support and prayers during this difficult time,” he added.
Shah Fayaz concluded with a heartfelt supplication for the eternal peace of the departed soul and divine strength for the family to bear this immense loss.
May her soul rest in eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdous. May the values she lived by continue to inspire and guide future generations.
