Ganderbal: One pedestrian was critically injured in a road accident at Cherwan, Kangan, when a Swift car bearing registration number PB11BQ-4689 collided with a Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK03B-3384.
The injured pedestrian has been identified as Waseem Ahmad (25), son of Mohmad Iqbal Kassana, resident of Hayan Palpora. He was immediately shifted to SDH Kangan, from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced medical treatment due to the seriousness of his injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
