GANDERBAL: 21st, APRIL 2026: Continuing its sustained efforts to eradicate the menace of drug abuse, *Ganderbal Police* organized a series of awareness programmes across the district under the initiative *“Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan.”*
As part of the drive, a comprehensive drug awareness programmes were conducted at *Government High School Kachnambal, Government Higher Secondary School Chattergul and Sadat Valley Educational Institute Wakura,* where students and staff were sensitized about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.
During these programmes, officers stressed the collective responsibility of society, especially students, parents, and educators, in combating drug abuse. Informative sessions, interactive discussions, and awareness lectures were conducted to ensure maximum outreach and impact.
*Ganderbal Police* reaffirmed its commitment to continue such initiatives and appealed to the general public to cooperate in the fight against drugs, ensuring a safer and healthier future for the youth of the district.
