Kangan: Residents of Yachama village and its adjoining areas expressed relief and appreciation after SHO Kangan Sajad Asad swiftly acted upon a public complaint regarding loud music being played at Northcliff Camping (formerly Rafting Point) opposite Yachama Bridge in Kangan, during late night hours.

The loud music, often continuing even during Azaan, had become a serious nuisance for residents, especially elderly citizens and children, disturbing their sleep and hurting community sentiments.

A message highlighting the issue was circulated in the local WhatsApp group “Rescue Team Kangan”, urging immediate intervention. Responding quickly, SHO Sajad Asad acknowledged that the complaint was genuine and fact-based.

A police team reached the spot, found the music system active, and promptly seized it, bringing it to the police station for further legal action. The owner of the camping site was directed to refrain from such actions in the future.

This swift and responsible response by SHO Sajad Asad has been widely praised by citizens, especially the senior members of the locality, who called him a dedicated officer who responds even to concerns raised in WhatsApp groups.

“This kind of policing builds trust and respect in the hearts of the public. SHO Kangan has shown what real community responsibility looks like,” said a local resident.
