After repeated appeals and follow-ups, a 6.3 KV transformer has finally been sanctioned and installed at the newly set-up receiving station in Wangath, bringing hope of improved electricity supply to the region.
Saleem Wani, widely known for his ground reporting and for consistently highlighting public concerns, played a crucial role in amplifying the issue through the media. Locals have taken to social media to thank both the MLA and the journalist for their commitment to public service.
The successful installation of the transformer is seen as a major relief for the people of the region.
